Application Checklist 

Application Checklist for Early Childhood Education

1. Copy of applicant’s Hong Kong birth certificate or passport with a valid visa
2. Copy of parents’ Permanent HKID cards or passports with valid visas
3. A passport-sized photograph of the applicant
4. Copy of any relevant Kindergarten reports (for Fours Programme only)

Application Checklist for Primary Education

1. Copy of applicant’s Hong Kong birth certificate or passport with a valid visa
2. Copy of parents’ Permanent HKID cards or passports with valid visas
3. A passport-sized photograph of the applicant
4. Payment of a Non-refundable & Non-transferable Application Fee  (payment details). 
5. Copy of school reports in the previous two academic years

Application Checklist for Secondary Education

1. Copy of applicant’s Permanent HKID card or passport with a valid visa

2. Copy of parents’ Permanent HKID cards or passports with valid visas

3. A passport-sized photograph of the applicant

4. Payment of a Non-refundable & Non-transferable Application Fee  (payment details). 

5. Copy of school reports in the previous two academic years

Step by Step Guide for Online Application Process

Online Application Step 1

If you haven't logged into YCIS before, please press Create a New Account. 

If you have an account already, you can type in your email and password to access it.

You should use the same account for all the children you would like to apply for.

Online Application Step 2

Register with your login email and set up your password.

Online Application Step 3

An email will be sent to your email address containing an activation link. Please click to activate your account. After successful activation, you may start to apply.

Online Application Step 4 

Fill in the following information and upload the supporting documents. The whole process should take you approximately 15 minutes.

• Personal Information
• Family 
• Education
• Payment Details (for Primary and Secondary only)
• Requirements (upload the supporting documents)
• Confirmation

To navigate in the online application form, you may move from one step to the next by clicking the 'Save and Continue' button on each screen.

After successful submission, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Our admissions team will start to process your application and arrange the interview/test when there is an opportunity. Please note that there may be waiting-lists for applications, if you are considering YCIS as the school for your child, you are recommended to apply at your earliest convenience.
