YALC: Playful Pals Summer Programme (Early Childhood Education)

Rooted in the Yew Chung Approach to Early Childhood Education, our Playful Pals Summer Programme is designed for parents and their children aged 1.5 to 3 years. The programme aims to foster early childhood development through engaging sensory activities that stimulate exploration, creativity, and bonding between parents and children.

Objectives

  • Enhance Sensory Development: Provide a variety of sensory experiences to help children explore their environment through touch, sight, sound, taste, and smell, which support early cognitive development.
  • Encourage Parent-Child Bonding: Create opportunities for parents to interact and play with their children, strengthening their relationship.
  • Promote Social Skills: Facilitate interactions among families to encourage socialisation and sharing.
  • Support Early Learning: Introduce concepts of colours, textures, math, science, and basic problem-solving through playful activities.
