Members of the Teaching Team Work Together as Equals

Because the co-teaching relationship is equal (no single head teacher), teachers must be willing to consider each other’s perspectives and to incorporate ideas and beliefs from both teachers .”

The Yew Chung ECE Approach intentionally builds a learning community, where all adults involved in the well-being and education of a child’s life are invited to be a part. Parents, grandparents, caregivers, classroom helpers, teachers, and leaders establish connections and relationships around the value and perspective/voice of a child.
